Why we are planting a church

We believe the greater New Market and Frederick area is in need of a faithful Gospel witness that seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ through expository preaching of the inerrant word of God. In addition to preaching, we seek to perform a regulative worship service, free of the distractions and man-centeredness of modern movements, returning the worship to be the voices of the people of God offering Him praise.

Phase 1

Spring 2026 - Fall 2026

The first phase of our launch is focused on the development of the launch team and preparing for entrance into the New Market area. This phase began in April 2026, on Sunday evenings.

Goals:
  • Establish unity and fellowship in the launch team
  • Prayer for the New Market area
  • Development of a strategy for growth

Phase 2

Fall 2026 - Spring 2027

The second phase is when the church begins outreach to the community with an aim toward a launch of the Sunday AM services as well as our PM and Wednesday night prayer and youth services.  

Goals:
  • Outreach into the community
  • Biblical Worship established in New Market
  • Wednesday night youth services

Phase 3

Spring 2027 - Onward

The third phase is the inclusion of additional ministries and outreaches to the church body as the Lord increases our number.

Goals:
  • Ministry to the growing body of Christ
  • Discipleship classes

Prospective Service Schedule

Sunday Morning

A worship service to our Lord, through expository preaching and hymn worship, congregational prayer, and fellowship of the saints afterwards.

Sunday Evening

A worship service to our Lord, through expository preaching and hymn worship. This service may also include visiting missionaries and special guest preaching. Service followed by fellowship of the saints

Wednesday Evening

Youth ministry for ages 4-18 in various classes focuses on Biblical knowledge, joyful worship, fellowship, and godliness for our youth.
For adults, we will have a prayer meeting with a brief lesson and devotional as well as discipleship time.
